Mogra Weddings is a documentary photography and film collective. Since 2018, we have been documenting Indian weddings with honesty, intimacy, and a deep respect for cultural ritual.

We work without posing, without staging, without interrupting. We move quietly through your day and return with a record that feels less like photography and more like memory.

Seven years. Over 200 weddings. 18 cities across India. And the one thing that has never changed: we photograph what is already there.

  • Documentary wedding photography captures your day as it actually unfolds — without posing, directing, or interrupting moments. At Mogra, we work invisibly, letting your family, your rituals, and your emotions lead. The result feels less like a photo album and more like memory.

  • Our approach is time. By the time the ceremony begins, your family has already forgotten we're there. We never ask people to look at the camera. We never interrupt a moment to stage it. Camera-shy families often produce our best work — because no one is performing.

  • At least 8–12 months, especially for peak season (October–February). We take a limited number of weddings per year to give each couple our complete attention. If you have a date in mind, reach out as early as possible.

  • Yes. We have documented weddings from Rajasthan's forts to Kerala's backwaters to Goa's coastline. Travel is part of what we do. Destination packages are available — tell us where you're getting married and we'll build a plan around it.

  • Yes — and honestly, the pre-wedding functions are where some of our favourite work happens. The haldi especially is pure chaos and joy. Coverage for individual functions can be added to any package.

  • Yes. During our call, we share complete galleries from similar weddings — not just curated highlights. You should see the full shape of our work before committing. We believe in full transparency.


  • Your gallery and film are yours. We only share images on Instagram and Pinterest if you are comfortable with it. Many couples prefer to keep it private. That is completely fine and changes nothing about how we work.
